The Environment Category Winner receives a Nazeing Glass Rosebowl for one year, Calor Gas Certificate, CPRE - The Hertfordshire Society Plaque and a cheque for £100

Community Life:                  Flamstead

Each of the above Category Winners receives a Calor Gas Certificate, CPRE - The Hertfordshire Society Plaque and cheque for £50.

Small Village of the Year: Brickendon Liberty

The Small Village of the Year receives a Hertfordshire Mercury Rosebowl for one year, CPRE Ð The Hertfordshire Society Plaque, Calor Gas certificate and £100 cheque to be spent on an environmentally enhancing scheme

Village of the Year East:      Hunsdon

Village of the Year West:    Redbourn

 

Each Regional Winner receives a Calor Gas Certificate, CPRE Ð The Hertfordshire Society Plaque and £150 cheque to be spent on an environmentally enhancing scheme. Regional Winners also hold a CPRE - The Hertfordshire Society Village of the Year Trophy for one year.

Nominee to Calor Village of the Year Competition England and Wales IT Category: Brookmans Park

(the IT Nomination does not carry an award at County level, but from 2003 will receive both CPRE Herts. and Calor Gas certificates)

 

Judges' Special Award: A glass Rosebowl donated by one of the Judges, Miss Margaret Peterkin, presented at the Judges' discretion. This year the Rosebowl goes to Stella Welsh of Furneux Pelham
